Lee performed on the violin and in song since his childhood, replacing the violin with the guitar in 1973 as a teenager. As a singer-songwriter-guitarist, he has been writing and performing both as a solo artist and part of a duo/trio since the late 1970’s. His adult contemporary style is reminiscent of secular artists Dan Fogelberg, James Taylor, Paul Simon and Jim Croce; Christian artists Michael Card and Bob Bennett.
