Music, Health, Advocacy, CaregivingApril Henry is an Award Winning Singer-Songwriter, Vocal Coach and Award Nominated Actor, originally from South Florida. She has performed on NBC6, iHeart Radio, CBS Radio and other outlets, while releasing several singles to critical acclaim and accolades. Recently, her song 'You're the Blue' aired on 'The Young and the Restless' on CBS Produced by Multi Emmy winning Brad Hatfield.

April loves to sing everything from Standards to Blues, Rock, and Pop and use her voice to uplift and heal. She writes and performs her own music in several genres as well, while also crossing those genres.

After graduating from the New World School of the Arts Conservatory, April wrote and co-directed her award nominated one person show, that received stellar reviews as well as a Carbonell Award nomination for Best Actress in a Play. She has performed Off-Broadway in NYC, created and performed Dance and Alternative music in Chicago, NYC, LA, and also traveled the globe performing her music in Japan, Sweden, Norway and more. In 2017, April was seen touring Hard Rock Cafes on the East Coast from Miami to Philly and the West Coast from Palm Springs all the way to Anchorage, Alaska and Vancouver, Canada. One of her favorite experiences was opening for the legendary Yardbirds at the Rose Theater in Pasadena, CA.

She has won several songwriting competitions, such as the International Songwriting Competition (judged by Robert Smith, Peter Gabriel, Adele and others) and the eWorld Music Awards (panel and producers include Emmy Award winning John Hamilton and Emmy Award Winning Director of the Golden Globes / Independent Spirit Awards Chris Donovan.) April has also garnered accolades for her vocal performance and music production at the Indie Music Channel Awards in the categories of Best New Alternative Artist, Best Music Video, and Best Producer.

She was a guest performer on the 'Life Changes Show' at the Vortex Dome in Downtown LA and interviewed by Journalist and Radio DJ Myki Angeline, featured on WIMN (Women's International Music Network). All the while, April has been working on her next album in alignment with her life's purpose; to inspire, to connect and to transform.
