Carey Moore is a professional flutist, teacher and adjudicator who lives in the metropolitan Atlanta area. She is a 2008 graduate of the Longy School of Music in Cambridge, MA where she earned her Master of Music in Flute Performance with Distinction. Carey’s primary flute instructors include Christina Smith, Carl Hall and Robert Willoughby. She currently performs around the metropolitan Atlanta area as a Freelance Musician. She has a strong interest in performing music for Unaccompanied Flute and enjoys developing programs of rarely performed works in the genre. Carey also maintains an active private studio and works with band programs in several different counties.
