About

Alan Mann studied classical piano as a child, playing piano and singing songs from musicals with his mother. He remembers that one Christmas his Aunt and Uncle bought him a huge box of second hand Juke Box records. He thought this to be an unusual gift but these records introduced him to lots of different music and he played them for many years. At 15 he bought his first Roland electronic piano and started entertaining at the age of 17 when he joined his first pop covers band. Alan was entertaining in the Social Clubs and Miners Welfares in and around Yorkshire and Derbyshire. Living in Yorkshire became difficult so he re-located to Suffolk in the mid-eighties where after ten years working as an engineer he became a training instructor in the engineering sector. There he continued with his musical pastime playing piano with various bands entertaining at weddings and celebrations as well as working with a popular sixties band at theaters throughout East Anglia. In 2017, Alan Mann took an opportunity for early retirement and began singing as a solo artist entertaining in the Care Home settings. Here, Alan found that his musical talents were very much appreciated along with his easy-going friendly personality. Visiting the residential homes and spending time with residents and staff has given him a new direction in life, which he hopes to continue with for many years to come. Alan performs variety of music from many genres with the aim of provided musical memories for everyone, encouraging his audience to join him in singing their favorite songs. Alan is married with four children ( three girls and one boy ) and also two grandsons.

Jaraneh Nova is an American born songwriter, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist based in Tucson, AZ. She has been called the Voice from the Ancestral Well, drawing inspiration from her ancestral roots. Gloria Hoffner is the creator and owner of Science for Seniors, a nationally trademarked company presented in over 25 states and Canada since 2007. She is also the author of the books, Science for Seniors and Going Places in Northern Europe Armchair Adventures and Activities, both published by Idyll Arbor Inc. and workbooks More Science for Seniors and Brain Boosting Games. She earned a BA from Temple University and undergraduate credits in astrophysics from West Chester University, both located in Pennsylvania. She has Activity Director Certification by the National Certification Council of Activity Professionals; Activity Consultant Board Certified by the National Association of Activity Professionals and a Dementia Practitioner by the National Certification Council of Dementia Practitioners. Science for Seniors was the 2010 winner of the NCCAP first place Best Practice Award and the book Science for Seniors is the 2013 winner of the Mature Media Award of Merit. Gloria has pre-recorded science programs ready to go for you and can live stream as well.

Donna is a true traveling troubadour ' performing 250 dates year round across the country. She has written, recorded and released 10 CDs of original music. Her latest release " The Beautiful Unseen " is going out to Anericana radio stations in May. Donna is nominated for the Mississippi Music Foundation Award for Best Americana Artist 2023. She has received 11 consecutive ASCAP Plus Awards for her work as a performing songwriter. She was a Kerrville New Folk finalist in 2004. Donna is involved in outreach programs for the elderly the homeless and the animals. Donna has been a musician partner with Music for Seniors in Nashville , TN for 7 years. She has performed programs in senior communities all over middle TN. She also teaches ukulele classes for Seniors. In 2019, Donna was given the 2019 Musician Partner of the Year Award by Music for Seniors. Donna has been a volunteer musician at Room in the Inn for the past 5 years, serving Nashville's homeless community. For the past 3 years Donna has presented Facebook Live programs from her local animal shelter The Humane Society of Sumner County, to present dogs and cats up for adoption and to raise money for HSSC.
